The fiery artist Ali Caldwell slayed (as always) the "I Will Always Love You" song by Dolly Parton, who happens to be her coach Miley's iconic godmother. Caldwell nailed it but it was the song's meaning that really shined through. By assigning this song to her, coach Miley gave her the ultimate vote of confidence - one extremely important gesture at this late point in the game, Bustle reported.

From the start, Caldwell has been the crowd favorite. Week after week, the coaches were blown away with her crazy amazing performances. Caldwell's vocals are obviously unmatched and her unique personality is magnetic. Not only that she is one of the most talented contestants on the Season 11 of The Voice, she is also one of the most talented artists on this show ever since, as dubbed by many viewers.

Coach Miley clearly agrees that Caldwell has what it takes to be a star. Miley has given her approval the moment she assigned her a song by her godmother. She's in to win it with the fierce Ali Caldwell, and the two might successfully go all the way together.

According to Caldwell's official NBC bio, she skipped college and joined Xhale R&B group instead. Their group played for Patti LaBelle's tribute concert and opened for the popular Boyz II Men. They called it quits in 2010 since they hardly could get a sign although they met with several record labels. In 2014, Caldwell went to Russia and toured the country with Oleg, a successful jazz musician. Since then, Caldwell has been to Russia five times as well as performs more than 20 shows every year, Gold Derby reported.

Prior to the live show this week, Caldwell's performances have been Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande (blind audition song), Hit or Miss by Odetta (battle song), No Ordinary Love by Sade (knockout song), Times Have Changed by Irma Thomas (top 20), Did I Ever Love You (top 12) by Leonard Cohen, 9 to 5 (top 11) Dolly Parton, and Without You (top 10) by Mariah Carey.
