Team SoloMid, commonly known as TSM in the world of esports, one of the largest electronic sports organizations that is based on North America particularly the United States and known for their successful competitive "League of Legends" team, will no longer have Weldon Green as their fulltime coach for their pro-gaming team. The announcement was recently posted in the team's official website.

According to gamenguide, the statement, titled "Thank you, Weldon", says that American eSports coach and sports psychologist Weldon Green won't be coaching the team fulltime. The team says that "Despite the positives of working with Weldon, we have decided to mutually part ways. We found that working with him in short periods of time proved to be more effective and will instead continue to consult and work with him for bootcamps."

The esports team praised Green for all he has done for them through managing internal relations and guiding the players, boosting their confidence and help them succeed as professional gamers. Under Weldon Green, the team finished with a record of 17-1 and won the North America League of Legends Championship Series by beating esports team Cloud9 with a score of 3-1, back in the early summer of 2016.

TSM emphasized the importance of Korean bootcamps for the team to progress, according to the Esports Edition, saying "Team SoloMid as an organization has always valued our bootcamps leading up to worlds in Korea, and we have always been extremely grateful to the top Korean teams that choose to scrim with us. These scrims have traditionally been some of the best practice our team gets in the competitive season, and we always learn a great deal during these bootcamps. "

The team also added in their statement: "We actively choose to remain on good relationships with our Korean scrim partners because we find that they are extremely beneficial to our team's development as a whole. The statements that were made do not reflect the organization's stance and beliefs towards them whatsoever, and we strive to keep these partnerships strong and healthy for the benefit of all."
