The CW's superhero TV series "Supergirl" is about to have a new hero/vigilante protecting National City and helping Supergirl keep the city and its inhabitants safe and sound. Next week's episode titled "Changing" will circle around The Guardian as he helps Supergirl in battling a new enemy. With the upcoming episode's title, change is about to happen and the viewers has yet to know how the characters will react to it.

The synopsis for episode six, found on Spoiler TV, reads: "THE GUARDIAN DEBUTS IN NATIONAL CITY - The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) of her power. Mon-El (Chris Wood) considers a less than desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex (Chyler Leigh) struggles with a new reality." A new enemy is in town and it is in the form of a parasitic alien that feeds on humans and infects them. According to an article found on IBTimes, the alien attacks humans, feeds on them and drains the body at its touch. On the promo video released, Supergirl is shown fighting the alien off but it turns out to be an infected victim of the "parent" alien.

This face off will eventually drain Supergirl's energy and James' (Mehcad Brooks) alter ego, The Guardian, will arrive at the scene and lend a helping hand. Speaking of James, his new identity as The Guardian is made possible with the help of his friend Winn (Jeremy Jordan). Winn was the one who made James' special suit and he will also be the new hero's sidekick. On the topic of changes, Alex (Chyler Leigh), Supergirl's adoptive sister, will finally come out as gay to her sister. After struggling with her sexuality, she will finally tell Kara a.k.a Supergirl the truth to which Kara openly and happily accepts it. Find out what happens next as "Supergirl" Season 2 airs every Monday on The CW.
