After eight long years of trying to produce a film that will accurately portray the seminal British rock band Queen, countless changing of actors and directors and numerous issues that hindered the progress of the band's biopic, it's production has finally been pushed through.

The biopic which will be titled "Bohemian Rhapsody" is set to finally be on the works as new actors, director, and writers are already chosen for the job. According to an article written on Deadline, Fox and New Regency have now partnered up with Graham King's GK Films for the development of the long overdue project. The teaming up of these three will speed up production.

The biopic also has a revamped script as "Theory of Everything" screenwriter Anthony McCarten was chosen to write the screenplay. With King and Jim Beach the producers, and Denis O'Sullivan the executive producer, it is only fitting to have the original Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor be the music producers.

But the most talked about topic of the day was the fact that 'Mr. Robot' Emmy award-winning actor Rami Malik was chosen to play the lead role of Freddie Mercury. With the success of his show and the way he portrayed the role brilliantly, expectations are soaring through the roof with this one.

Actors chosen for the role before Malek included Sacha Baron Cohen and then followed by Ben Whishaw which then again dropped the role. In an article written by Rolling Stone, May revealed that Cohen's reason for leaving was due to creative differences and Cohen having a big personality different from the role. Whishaw's leave was also due to more creative issues in 2014. Peter Morgan was also chosen to be the writer but also dropped the film as well as director Dexter Fletcher. With the casting of Rami Malek this time, will the biopic be finally pursued? Stay tuned for more details.
