Weeks after the "Trolls" actor Justin Timberlake took to Instagram to post a picture of him in a voting booth after voting which resulted to him almost being put to jail, Jessica Biel playfully teased his husband regarding the selfie scandal in a fun and sweet way.

In his guesting on "The Tonight Show" last week, the 35-year old performer explained to his pal Jimmy about the picture which he captioned: "Hey! You! Yeah, YOU! I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote !!! No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town too. If not, November 8th! Choose to have a voice! If you don't, then we can't HEAR YOU! Get out and VOTE!"

He only had good intentions in doing so. But according to TNReport, a law was passed last year in his home state Tennessee by Republican Gov. Bill Haslam prohibiting them "from using electronic devices for telephone conversations, recording, or taking photographs or videos while inside the polling place."

Fortunately for the "Can't Stop the Feeling" singer, the District attorney's statement has since confirmed that they will not be using their "limited resources" to investigate, according to an article written by Commercial Appeal.

But that didn't stop Biel, 34, from poking fun at his husband's mishap. Minutes after the 'Shock And Awe' actress voted, Biel posted three different shots of her with an "I Voted" sticker with the caption: 'When you're so turnt up about voting that you do a photoshoot with your sticker and think it's cool but then second guess it, but you've already posted, but at least you waited to get home before snapping so you won't almost go to jail, shout out to @justintimberlake."

Timberlake was quick to respond to his wife by sharing her photo with the message: 'Well played, Wifey. Well played...@jessicabiel #getoutandvote #rockthevote #votelikeyoumeanit #everyvotehashtagever. Ps. No selfies in the booth."
