Every country has an appropriate dress code that is dependent on the climate, culture and religious beliefs. Trench coats are fashionable items in France, U.S and other countries with cold weather, but if you're travelling in Asian countries like the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam, and you're wearing one; probably you'll be sweating a lot at this time.

Wearing your most comfortable clothes is not always a 'must' in traveling. You also need to pay respect to other people that surrounds you, so you should research first and choose the 'appropriate' attire. Your view about fashion may not always be impressive, others might be offended.

Here are some of the staple or go-to-outfits that are probably the most 'acceptable' worldwide:

1. Comfortable jeans

Pack two of your favorite jeans. These are very versatile and low-maintenance. With the right fabric; it can be worn even without ironing, just lay it flat on your luggage and you're ready.

Veer away from packing ripped jeans, just the normal and decent-looking is a wise choice. It can be repeatedly worn, so you don't need to bring a lot of it. Also choose those that have darker shades. Whites are very delicate, you can't just sit down anywhere in it.

2. Sneakers and flats

Travelling means a lot of walking, you don't want to murder your feet with heels and leather shoes right?

3.Basic t-shirts

Consider sticking with conservative colors like black, white, navy blue, tan, brown and gray. As much as possible, choose the plain ones. Busy-looking and flashy colored-clothing might not be a good idea if you plan to go to sacred places such as temples and mosques. And please, leave your statement shirts at home. Those that screams "I love this place..."also shouts that "I'm a tourist."

4. Little Black Dress

For girls, L.B.D is very light and easy to wear. They said that they usually feel beautiful when they wear them. But a friendly advice, save your legs and don't forget to bring insect repellant.

5.Watch

Every minute counts, you want to see many places in a day and follow your itinerary, so wearing a watch is a must. Expensive diamonds and gold are suited for formal occasions. Leave your bling-blings safe at home. But if you really want to be fashionable, consider using accessories instead of jewelries.

6.Swimwear

Whether you plan to swim or not, just bring it! Swimwears are very handy and won't make your bag heavy, I promise.

Check your suitcase and change some items, sometimes most of the things you bring might not always be the appropriate ones.
