The actor who plays the main antagonist in the latest Star Wars movie says that his character is nothing like the past villains from the previous sequels.

Many believe that Kylo Ren, the most recent enemy in the epic saga, is similar to the iconic nemesis Darth Vader due to a lot of similarities between them. Reeking of intrigue, long black cloak, and that mask that makes him look like he's angry all the time, Ren is easily associated with the hero-turned-rogue Anakin Skywalker.

Adam Driver, the actor who portrays Ren, begged to differ that his character is something unlike any other villain in Star Wars.

'I feel there's a recklessness about him that's maybe not normally associated with the Dark Side,' Driver said. 'You normally think of order, and structure, and full commitment and no hesitation...he's just a little bit more unpolished,' he added. 'It's in his costume, in his lightsaber - how you kind of get the sense that it could just not work at any moment; that it could just blow up. That's kind of like a big metaphor for him.'

He was present in the UK premiere of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' in Leicester Square, London with his wife Joanne Tucker. He found it challenging not to spoil the storyline to people close to him. 'It was great. I kept it from my wife for three years, just because the pay off of her seeing it with everybody was so worth it,'

Playing as a main antagonist in a pop culture phenomenon may be his biggest role yet but he already had a bit of a share when it comes to fame when he was casted as Lena Dunham's lover in the TV series 'Girls.'

'On Girls we usually have to drive ourselves to work and bring our own costumes... okay, that's not true but it feels like that,' he joked. 'But on this [Star Wars] we got free meals, which is good. We got a private jet; we got our own lightsabers....Way better.'
