A heartwarming Christmas moment captured in video goes viral in Youtube when Santa Claus uses sign language to communicate to a little girl who has difficulty with speech.

The adorable scene took place in Middlesbrough's Cleveland Centre last November 5.

Mali Phoenix Williams-Cory is the 3 years old kid in the video and she isn't deaf nor mute but she just has a hard time communicating with speech and language for unapparent reason. In order to help her communicate, she is being taught sign language in a special school. She usually visits shopping centres only on special events such as Halloween and, as featured in the video, Christmas. As any child of her age, she came to the mall to see Santa Claus.

At the beginning of the video, the little shy girl is seen wearing a festive hat and sitting on Santa's lap. Saint Nick tried to talk to her but the girl's mother, as heard from the background, apologizes and informs Father Christmas that the child can't communicate very well. Upon hearing this, Santa asks the mother if the girl understands sign language to which the mother responded 'Yeah, she does animals and things like that' implying that the girl knows a few basic signs.

Upon knowing the limitations of the child, the shopping centre's Santa Claus tapped the kid's shoulder with the intent of asking her what her Christmas wish would be. What viewers set their eyes upon next are Santa and child communicating in hand signals which has got to be the most adorable moment of the year.

The captured scene was uploaded on Youtube and garnered close to 3 million views as of this writing. The cute moment captivated the hearts of many and was later posted in the Facebook page of the Cleveland Centre.

To those who might be curious, the little girl wanted a scooter as present for Christmas.

Adults might want to check out a more fashionable Santa, one that's not for kids.
