Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are so in love right now. Hence, it didn't really come as a surprise when it was revealed that the two artists are already engaged and set to walk the aisle soon.

The confirmation that Pattinson and Twigs - born Tahliah Barnett - are already engaged came when Twigs' collab partner T-Pain accidentally slipped the juicy bit in an interview with Vulture.

Though T-Pain quickly took back what he said by claiming that it was just an April Fools' Day prank on social media, People has confirmed that the engagement was far from a prank.

The engagement rumors first spiralled when Pattinson and FKA Twigs were photographed visiting each other's families over the holiday season. And it appears that the photographs were already the initial confirmation that something big was up for the couple.

A source close to Pattinson has now opened up to Hollywood Life how the actor proposed to the "Two Weeks" singer and also gushed about the possible wedding date for the twosome.

"He is telling people that he did it shortly before Valentine's Day. He was and is very secretive about it only telling a select few family and friends," the source said.

The insider then added that the proposal was very intimate and private saying, "They were together and alone when it happened, he doesn't share what happened. He really has kept that very close to the vest."

FKA Twigs who was quite surprised of her beau's gesture said yes, according to the insider.

"Well she said 'yes,' you can tell they are all about each other and they are equal to each other, you can feel the good vibes that come from them both," the insider said. "They are both very loving to each other and very protective of each other, it's very sweet."

So when are they tying the knot? The source said that fans cannot expect the big day to happen this year.

"They haven't set a date but friends and family have been told not to expect anything this year. It's going to be a long engagement," the source said. "I would be shocked if it was in the states, but they haven't really gone down that road yet for those decisions."
