Apple Watch preorders will be made possible starting this April, per Apple's official announcement during the much anticipated Spring Forward event at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. 

According to First Post, the Cupertino-based tech giant's Apple Watch preorders will be available starting April 10, to the delight of Apple fanboys.

Consumers who want to be one of the first people to flaunt the techie wearables should take not of the said date.

Apart from the official preorder date, Apple also revealed the pricing for its new line of innovative wearables.

Of course the pricing for the device varies greatly. For one thing, the Apple Watch consists of three collections of devices that can be categorized into: health and fitness companion, communication device and timepiece.

The Apple Watch Sport is priced at $349 for the smaller version and $399 for the larger ones. On the other hand, the Apple Watch Collection starts at $549 for the smaller version and $599 for the larger wearables. Finally, the Apple Watch Edition  starts at $10,000 as opposed to previous reports claiming that Apple could offer the timepiece for $5,000, reports International Business Times.

"Conceived, designed and developed as a singular product, Apple Watch merges hardware and software like never before," Apple's Senior Vice President of Design Jony Ive said of their new line of products. "In Apple Watch, we've created three beautifully curated collections with a software architecture that together enable unparalleled personalization in a wearable device."

Aside from Apple CEO Tim Cook, who took center stage at the event to introduce the Apple Watch line, Christy Turlington Burns was also there and shared her test-user experience of innovative wearables, according to Vogue.

Also announced in the event is the commitment of several developers to creating apps for the Apple Watch. Some of the big names confirmed to join this move include Facebook, WeChat, Starwood, Instagram and ESPN. 

While the Apple Watch preorder will start on April 10, the wearables will arrive at the market on April 24. The markets that will enjoy the privilege of being one of the firsts to have access to the wearables are Australia, U.K., Japan, U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, China, Germany and France among others.
