Viral Video - The Utah baby upside-down crash survival story is still a mystery that continues to haunt the four police officers who came rushing to save the infant.

The officers say before they were able to save the baby under the overturned car in the icy Utah river, they all heard a mysterious female voice calling out "Help" from inside the vehicle.

When they saw what's under the car, all they could find was an 18-month-old girl strapped in a seat in the back of her mother, precariously hanging upside down in 40-degree water, and the infant's dead mother, so the voice couldn't have come from her.

The infant, identified as Lily Groesback, fortunately survived the 14-hour exposure to the icy river.

"We've gotten together and just talk about it and all four of us can swear that we heard somebody inside the car saying, 'Help,'" Officer Jared Warner of the Spanish Fork Police Department who was one of the first responders told Deseret News.

The mystery of where the voice came from may never be explained, but Officer Tyler Beddoes is adamant that he and his fellow rescuers heard the voice.

Just like the voice, the reason how the 18-month-old girl survived 14 hours dangling upside down in her car seat with no food or water remains a mystery.
