The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Another “Walking Dead” Character Dies When The Show Returns

"The Walking Dead" season 5 will return with another shocking death of a beloved character, International Business Times reported.

"The Walking Dead" mid-season finale had a shocking ending with the death of Beth Greene played by Emily Kinney. Fans of the show must brace their selves for another loss as season 5 returns on February.

The show's creator Robert Kirkman has hinted that Daryl Dixon portrayed by Norman Reedus may say goodbye to the series. Kirkman was asked who will stay safe in "The Walking Dead" characters in an interview with CNN.

"No, no one is safe, definitely not. Looking at you Norman Reedus," Kirkman said.

This is not the first time that "The Walking Dead" creator talked about the death of Daryl. Before season 5 premiered this year, Kirkman said "Oh, and Daryl dies" in a radio interview, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Kirkman's statements devastated fans since Daryl is a well-loved character in the series. The loyal followers even created social media pages with the title "If Daryl Dies, We Riot." Reeedus even won MTV's best TV character of 2014 for his role in the zombie apocalypse show.

Since fans have barraged the actor with tweets about his impending death. Reedus made sure that his followers will have a peaceful holiday and tweeted: "Happy holidays everyone! And don't believe rumors they wanna sell papers it's all bullshit .And I also didn't die four times this yearBE NICE," Undead Walking reported.

The tweet calmed down "The Walking Dead" fans but speculations still rose that this may be a ploy to make the death more shocking. Deaths of previous important characters were unexpected in the past seasons.

Sneak peek of the incoming episode does not hint on any other death of the survivors. The new "Walking Dead" clip showed Rick Grimes played by Andrew Lincoln and the rest of the group arriving at Alexandria Safe-Zone in Alexandria, Virginia, according to Wet Paint.

It also featured a funeral scene for Beth. Maggie Greene played by Loren Cohan is seen crying in the ground. Rick talked about survival and said "We'll be OK. Because this is how we survive."

Meanwhile, fans can watch the sneak peek of "The Walking Dead" while waiting for its return on Feb.8, 2015 .
