"We will never understand the actions or the motives of those who took Holly from us, but we continue to pray that someone will have the courage to step forward and shed more light on this senseless tragedy," the statement continued.

They added, "We have lost a precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. However, those responsible have lost their souls. Holly's soul is the one thing that their brutality could not diminish or extinguish."

According to The Washington Post, Bobo had been abducted from outside her home in Decatur County on Apr. 13, 2011. Bobo's brother Clint reportedly saw his sister being led into the woods by a man in camoflauge, but since he assumed it was her boyfriend, he didn't notify the authorities immediately.

Clint later found blood and knew something was wrong. However, authorities never publicly confirmed that the blood was Holly's.

Since her disappearance, her family and the Decatur County community have been hard at work searching for the 20-year-old.

A Zach Adams, 29, and Jason Autry were already indicted April this year on charges of kidnapping and murdering Bobo.

In May, brothers Mark Pearcy, 38 and Jeffrey Pearcy, 42, were also charged with accessory after the fact and evidence tampering.

Bobo's disappearance and death remains unclear, but the publicity surrounding the case is known to be notorious even before Holly Bobo body found. According to the Washington Post, media covered the story so extensively that investigators said their investigation was blocked.

The case began to pick up again after police found evidence in Zach's home that eventually led to his and Jason's arrest. It is believed there was a video found in the room showing Holly tied up and crying. The tape was allegedly destroyed but a friend, Sandra King, testified to seeing the video.

Holly Bobo body found case is known to be related to Adams who was arrested in March, and three other men who allegedly kidnapped and killed Bobo, however all four men have pleaded not guilty.
