Did you know that it is possible to walk inside the actual Statue of Liberty? Not only can you tour Liberty Island, but you can also get an informational tour within the statue, plus get access to a beautiful view from inside the crown!

Within the $25 fee, you get to ride the Liberty Ferry, get access inside the pedestal of the statue and access to the crown! Be aware, all visits to the Statue of Liberty require a Ferry ticket! There is no other way to get to Liberty Island!

As mentioned before, tickets are required to enter any level of the Statue of Liberty. And, just in case you are not aware, Buying statue access tickets is separate from buying the tickets to ride the ferry!

Take the Ferry

The Ferries leave from Battery Park City and from Liberty State Park in New Jersey. You can travel any time between 8:30 and 4:30.

Tour the Promenade at the Base of the Statue. (Pedestal)

 

There is an observatory where guests can look into the inner base of the statue. With that, there is a museum that holds the original statue of Liberty torch.
