Kanye booed off stage at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been making the rounds on the internet, especially social media. It seemed that not all attendees at the Friday festival were too keen on seeing Kanye West with his new wife Kim Kardashian as news of Kanye booed off stage clearly showed.

Before the incident of Kanye booed off stage, the newlywed 37-year-old went on stage at 10 p.m., just in time for his set performance in front of almost 90,000 festival goers began. He also had new wife Kim Kardashian in tow, watching from the soundboard, about 50 yards from her husband on the main stage, reports The Denver Channel. Copping high heels and white pants, the 33-year-old sang along with hubby Kanye and even waved her hands in the air occasionally.

The set design for Kanye's slot was reportedly less flamboyant as the stage of his "Yeezus" tour. However, it is not to say that his swagger will be toned down as well. What seemed a peaceful performance turned into a burst of insults halfway through Kanye's set performance and resulted to Kanye booed off stage.

During the song "Heartless," Kanye reportedly began to yell, "Where the press at? F-k the press!" As the press clearly did not amount to much of the audience, this comment from Kanye was surpassed as inoffensive. However, it was just the beginning.

Kanye booed off stage by most attendees of Bonnaroo does not seem out of place anymore as Kanye continued his performance singing he was feeling "humbled in a way that gave him strength" because at 37, "what you see [of him] now is only the beginning."

He reportedly compared himself to John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, and said that he does not need hit songs or radio airplay any longer as he isn't in competition with other living artists. He is now about to install himself as a timeless cultural icon. Kanye booed off stage as he said, "I ain't going after nobody on the radio. I'm going after Shakespeare. I'm going after Walt Disney. I'm going after Howard Hughes. I'm going after Genghis Khan. I'm going after Henry Ford.." The outburst eventually ended with "I am the No. 1 muthaf-kin' rock star on the planet!"

After that line was when Kanye booed off stage began. The "rock star" was met with violent boos and festival-goers even started exiting from the stage. As the attendees went away from Kanye, they started going early to the tent of U.K. dance duo Disclosure.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Kanye booed off stage began with the jeer "F-k Kanye" as the festival-goers waited for Disclosure to appear. The jeer can be heard from different areas in the festival, ranging from walls, to barriers and even port-a-potties. The tirade of insults reportedly began almost as soon as concertgoers arrive at the festival late Wednesday.

Bonnaroo attendees reportedly usually have the "Radiate Positivity" motto of the festival. It seemed however that that isn't the case when Kanye booed off stage began.

Some attendees went for Twitter to report Kanye booed off stage:

There was even a fence in the area spray-painted "Dear Kanye, Kim gave a better performance."

Kanye booed off stage is unfortunate. Still, the incident should be separated from the singer's performance in general. According to The Denver Channel, West's mix of hits and cuts from his 2013 album "Yeezus" provided the "most visually arresting moments of the night." Despite Kanye booed off stage and some festival-goers leaving early from his set, he ended his show 90 minutes later and completed his set 20 minutes before his scheduled finish with the song "Blood on the Leaves."
