Sylvester Stallone is dead. At least that's what the Internet is saying. However the "Rocky" actor didn't die. He's just the victim of an Internet death hoax. Sly Stallone is just fine.

Many are coming across a news report saying that Stallone died in a snowboarding incident. Global Associated News, which is notorious for starting false celebrity death rumors, says "Actor Sylvester Stallone is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - June 13, 2014."

The site claims that Stallone died in a snowboarding incident at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland.

"Witnesses indicate that Sylvester Stallone lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed. Sylvester Stallone was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death." the report reads.

Since there are so many details to the accident, it is easy to believe that it's real, but Global Associated News creates fake news reports.

A message at the bottom of the site reads: "FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes!"

The same exact death hoax was going around in January 2013. The 67-year-old actor is alive and well and still acting. He'll be in a movie called "Reach Me" as well as "The Expendables 3 and 4" and he'll reprise his role of Rocky Balboa soon in a movie called "Creed."
 
Yet people who are coming across the report are taking the Twitter to mourn and question the loss of the actor. Some examples of tweets include:

"wtf dont tell me sylvester stallone is dead just no way"

Being that Global Associated News uses a generator to create death hoaxes, several other celebrities have died in this same exact snowboarding death story. They include Nicolas Cage, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Jim Carrey, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger.
