ABC News reports that all that is known about the anonymous and generous millionaire, who also happens to use the Twitter handle @HiddenCash is that he is between the ages of 35 and 45.  Reports say that the generous millionaire recently made $500,000 on a single deal. Because he apparently had too much money on his hands, he had some friends of his helping him with the cash envelopes San Francisco money drops. He reportedly had given away $4,000 between Thursday night and Sunday.

Because of his scavenger hunt antic, the anonymous millionaire now has more than 52,000 followers. Every tip reportedly sparks what the San Francisco Chronicle calls a "social-scavenger hunt" situated in different districts of the city of San Francisco.

In an interview with the mystery donor, the Bold Italic reports that the millionaire explained, "I've made millions of dollars the last few years, more than I ever imagined, and yet many friends of mine, and people who work for me, cannot afford to buy a modest home in the Bay Area." He added, "This has caused me quite a bit of reflection. I am determined to give away some of the money I make, and in addition to charity, to do it in fun, creative ways like this."

The anonymous millionaire reportedly told ABC News that he is planning to keep up the money drops "indefinitely" and that he also wants to take the money drops further to New York City and Los Angeles soon. He said, "I'm giving right now about a thousand a day. For me, that's definitely manageable." Now, if only he could take it even more further to other countries.
