Eating and learning about local food is a fantastic way to learn about a city or country because food is a huge part of the history of a destination. More and more people are starting to realise that there is no better way to explore a country's culinary delights than hitting the open road.

1. Phuket, Thailand
Southern Thailand is known for many things like picturesque islands and a relaxed lifestyle. The food of Phuket stems from a jumble of influences that has no counterpart elsewhere in Thailand. The abundance of fresh and delicious seafood and influence from neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia, Southern Thai cuisine is often with a strong kick.
