Flying to Europe Is Cheaper Than It Has Been in 3 Years

If you've been daydreaming of walking the stairs to Sacré-Cœur in Paris or hopping on a double-decker bus at London's Piccadilly Circus, you're in good company. Last year, 672 million people - half of the world's tourists - spent time in Europe.

And in 2019, the continent is likely to remain popular as flight prices are cheaper than they have in years.

In fact, flights to Europe this spring and summer are at the lowest price point in three years, according to Hopper. Spring flights (for March, April, and May) are currently averaging $637 round-trip, while summer tickets (for June, July, and August) are at $909, both averages lower than averages in 2018 and 2017.
