There's a new sight to marvel at the Croatian port city of Trogir - which UNESCO has awarded as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. The Brown Beach House Croatia has been given a 9/10 by Telegraph, and they note of the "sophisticated and unpretentious feel" of the boutique hotel.

The new hotel is situated on the hotel is "on a busy road overlooking the narrow sea channel between ÄŒiovo and the mainland." It is also worth noting that it is only three miles away from Split airport. Guests will be boarded on a private boat to the island where the hotel is at.

According to Robb Report, the hotel definitely looks like it came from a different era. Italian beach resorts from the 1950s inspired the interiors. The 25-room hotel has black and white tiles, neutral hues all throughout, vintage décor, and Mediterranean plants. The one and two bedroom units all have wonderful views of Trogir and of the Adriatic Sea.

Before the hotel, it was actually a 20th century tobacco house. They kept a lot of the original structure, and they just added stylish and hip décor to make it modern and contemporary. Unlike a lot of luxury hotels, the atmosphere at the Brown Beach House is cool and not uptight at all.

When it comes to the staff and service, expect being served by a young and enthusiastic team ready to give you the best experience. As guests, you'll get to enjoy recreational facilities like a pool area, library, billiard and game room, and the bicycles that are available for personal use.

Guests will also have access to a private beach and a bespoke cocktail bar. The hotel will also be home to a high-end seafood restaurant called Cartina. An in-house spa will also be constructed come opening time.
