Ashley Tisdale engaged to Christopher French celebrates her 29th birthday in a more intimate setting with only her closest friends. Although extremely wild parties have never been absent in the celebrity scene, it looks like it has been somewhat of a trend for majority of today's celebrities to celebrate special occasions more intimately.

Tisdale had her 29th birthday just last week, and unlike her Sharpay Evans character in the hit TV movie, "High School Musical," her celebration was pretty simple. Ashley Tisdale engaged and her fiancé French were spotted having dinner at a Studio City restaurant with their friends. They ate at The Village, where they were later joined by the other cast members of Tisdale's upcoming show, "Buzzy's."

The photographs that were taken of Ashley Tisdale engaged that night showed the Disney star wearing a gold chain around her neck, with a pendant that read, "Love." Perhaps, this pendant is a good indication of the happy relationship that she is in with French, after they got engaged in August. The couple has been dating for eight months before French popped the big question.

She actually has the same birthdate with yet another Disney star, Lindsay Lohan, who turned 28. Ashley Tisdale engaged posted a group picture on her Instagram account that indicated the camaraderie that happened on the night of her celebration. The image she posted showed herself with a huge smile on her face, as she was surrounded by her friends and colleagues as they were huddled around a huge dining table fronting an imposing fireplace. The Instagram's post's caption was, "Birthday dinner with the #buzzys cast! So much fun @laurenlapkus @mattcooktookpics @dionareasonover #mikecastle"

Ashley Tisdale engaged was also gifted with a box of yummy cupcakes from the cast of "Young and Hungry", which is also a new show that Tisdale stars in and produces.
