With the recent report about the possibility of a Nintendo SNES Mini coming, there's now a report coming in that a Nintendo Switch Mini might be in the cards in the near future. One fan even made a concept art for what the console might look like.

According to a report from MCV, an analyst from Citigroup believes that Nintendo is planning to make a mini version of its latest console. The reason for this is that current size of the device is locking out a big part of its potential market.

Citigroup said that the current size of the handheld mode of the Nintendo Switch would be a struggle for children to hold on to comfortably. This is why they believe a Switch Mini will soon be coming out.

The company even predicted that by the end of March 2019, Nintendo would have achieved a sale of 6.7 million units of the said mini console. By that period, the sale of the Nintendo Switch could already be at 25.7 million units.

DVS Gaming reports that one fan even went further with this speculation as he came out with a concept art of what the Switch Mini could look like. The Mini console would likely have a 5-inch screen size and would come with Joy-Cons that cannot be detached.

The design also suggests that it would be more rounded and it likely won't come with a dock. But Nintendo Switch Mini would still be compatible with the dock to make it convenient to use for families who owns a Nintendo Switch.

As for the pricing, the report said that the fan priced the Nintendo Switch Mini at $200. Though this is just rumor at this point, the concept does make sense for Nintendo, considering that the mini console would be targeting a younger audience base.

The Citigroup analyst suggests that people might get to see the Nintendo Switch Mini sometime in 2019. Check out the video below for more news about the mini version of the console.
