It looks like details about Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio could be revealed sooner than expected. The latest console is also believed to showcase some of the latest games like "Red Dead Redemption 2" and "Star Wars Battlefront 2" when it's revealed to show its graphical features and specs.

Windows Central reported that the official specs of Microsoft's latest console are rumored to be revealed this April 6, Thursday. This is earlier than the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 in June, where everyone expects Microsoft to reveal the latest Xbox.

The report said that Microsoft let a major gaming outlet look at the internals of the Xbox Project Scorpio. The company used the game "Forza Motorsport 7," which is planned to be the headline title of the latest Xbox, to showcase the console's gaming prowess.

GameRant reports, however, that the console could also see two third-party games steal the limelight from "Forza Motorsport 7." The games that could also headline with the Xbox Project Scorpio are "Red Dead Redemption 2" and "Star Wars Battlefront 2."

The report said that other possible games that could be part of the Project Scorpio line-up are "FIFA," "Madden," and the rumored "Call of Duty: WW2." The "Forza Motorsport 7" utilized the rumored "true 4K" resolution of the console and the report said leaked information indicated how stunning the game really looked.

If the rumors are true, then people will finally be able to know what's really inside the Xbox Project Scorpio console. For now, fans will just have to settle for the rumored specs of the console, which is said to run at six (6) teraflops.

This feature makes the Xbox Project Scorpio more powerful than the Xbox One and its competition, the PlayStation 4 Pro, which runs at 4.2 teraflops. Check out more news about the Xbox Project Scorpio in the video below.
