There is going to be a new arc for "One Piece" anime. Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that the television anime series will enter an original arc beginning March 19.

The new arc, Anime News Network said, will feature new Marine soldiers making their appearance. The 14th issue of Shonen Jump also revealed tha arc's plot, which will focus on Luffy and those travelling with him in order to rescue Sanji.

Sanji has disappeared and Luffy and the others know that there is definitely something wrong. They go on an adventure to find him, but because of Luffy's love for food, the crew will be faced with a major problem.

After Luffy uses up all the food during their journey, the team will infiltrate a Marine base to resupply. But he is stopped when three rookie members of Aokiji's crew appear before him. The magazine also teased a key visual for the arc which shows Luffy wearing his straw hat, but donning a Marine coat while fighting three Marine soldiers, ComicBook said.

This new arc with the "Marine Rookie" storyline won't be something new to manga readers. This arc is a filler, and some fans may not be happy to know that it is. But it still promises a lot of surprising and shocking twists, just like the visual about Luffy wearing a Marine jacket - which he despises. Garp had always wanted Luffy and Ace to be Marines, and is the visual a giveaway that this happening soon?

The "One Piece" visual also named the additional characters. Natsuki Hanae will play Grant, who has a strong sense of justice; Hiroki Yasumoto is Bonam, a member of the Longarm Tribe; Makoto Furukawa takes the role of Sappa, a dual-sword wielder; and Yuhei Tadano is Vice-Admiral Prodi, who seems to be Garp's old friend.
