The 24-year-old "Good For You" singer Selena Gomez, who has been open about her battle against anxiety and depression, has been on social media hiatus for the past 14 weeks. Recently, during Thanksgiving, she made her comeback online by sharing a touching post to her fans.

According to a report by E! News, the pop star took to Instagram, where Selena is named the most followed person on the platform with over 100 million followers, to share her gratitude towards her loyal fan base. "I have a lot to be thankful for this year..," Selena wrote. "My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I've finally fought the fight of not 'being enough'"

She further added, "I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless."

During the American Music Awards, according to Daily Mail, Gomez also made the event quite emotional with her speech about acceptance; telling the audience that she felt broken on the inside and needed to heal. This was her first public appearance since her career halt back August, following a struggle with lupus-related issues.

After her speech, several celebrities, including Lady Gaga, shed tears and showed their support towards the songstress through social media posts. Even her fans showed their undying love and support towards the singer.

Things are looking bright for the singer and we feel happy to see that she's doing good. How about you? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below to tell us how you feel about Selena's comeback in the social media.
