After taking a break from her music career in order to focus on her own health, Selena Gomez is planning to make a major comeback to the music industry by performing in front of her fans at the American Music Awards on November 20. A source told them that Selena Gomez wants her first appearance after her 'break' to be in front of her fans and if the "Can't Keep My Hands to Myself" singer does decide to make her first public appearance at the AMAs, she wanted it to be big by either making an astounding appearance or making a major announcement to the crowd.

According to Hollywood Life, the gossip website also reported that Selena's ex, Justin Bieber will not attend the AMAs and that this will help the "Kill 'Em With Kindness" singer more since her ex-boyfriend will not be there to mess things up for her. "Selena Gomez is relieved that Justin has tour dates on the night of the AMAs... With Justin unlikely to make an appearance at the show there is less stress surrounding the event for Selena. Even though Selena will always love Justin, it does make things easier for her knowing her ex-boyfriend will likely not be there," Hollywood Life quoted their trusted source, stating that the "Baby" singer has tour dates on the day of the AMAs.

IB Times also reported that Selena Gomez took a break from the music industry after admitting that she has been battling with lupus and had to have a temporary break from her career to focus and maintain her health. This has caused the songstress to cancel the remainder of her Revival World Tour.
