Just a month ago, the superstar couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shocked Hollywood when they decided to call their marriage off. Jolie filed for divorce last September 19 citing irreconcilable differences. It can be remembered that Angelina and Brad met and according to Angelina 'fell in love' while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The couple had been together since 2005 and secretly tied the knot at their house in France on August 23, 2014.

In 2007, Brad and Angelina bought a property in New Orleans for $3.5 million. At the time, Brad Pitt established the Make It Right Foundation for the development of new housing in the city's Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city.

The three-story mansion has a total land area of 7,645 square feet with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two half-baths. The property is also said to be Venetian plastered walls, marble mantles and fireplaces which are custom-made, crown moldings and opulent spiral stairs.

The listing agent, Nina Killeen confirmed that the property was sold at a "very fair price" and both parties are happy with the outcome. According to The Hollywood Reporter, documents filed with the Land Records Division of the Orleans Parish Civil Clerk of Court's office show the property sold for $4.9 million.

Although the couple had already started splitting their assets, they still have a handful properties including a $60 million estate in France, $16 million home in West London, and the 5,300-square-foot home in Los Angeles that Brad owned before his marriage to Angelina.

If you're wondering where the couple's children are, they are currently residing in Hidden Hills, California with their mother, Angelina Jolie since the actress requested full custody of their six kids. The couple then agreed to a temporary custody deal shortly after.
