Rumors had been flying around about divorce until actress Angelina Jolie made official last September that she and actor husband Brad Pitt would be ending their 2-year marriage, and that she was filing for divorce. The two met in 2003 while filming the hit box office thriller "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". At the time, Pitt was married to actress Jennifer Aniston, who also filed for divorce from Pitt in 2005 amid revelations of an affair going on between Pitt and Jolie.

Since their relationship became official in 2005, the Jolie-Pitt's have been raising 6 children together, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. These children have been subject to custody battles between the two, and they currently live with their mother, Jolie, in a rented hideaway in Malibu, keeping away from the paparazzi. According to E News, "One of Angie's security guards was spotted picking up four large pizzas and a couple bags from D'Amore's pizza in the area on Tuesday." Pitt has not seen his children since the news broke, but he hopes that the situation will change soon.

Despite Pitt's wishes to see his children again, there has also been speculation that the cause for the couple's divorce was due to an incident Pitt had with his children while the family was on their private plane, flying from their Chateau Miraval estate in Nice, France back to Burbank, California. The two allegedly got into a heated argument, and that Brad was supposedly verbally and physically abusive. An insider tells Us Magazine that during a refuel stop at Minnesota's International Falls Airport, "He got drunk and was fighting with Angie. Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad's face." Another insider, however, claims that, "Brad is seen yelling a lot during it, but nothing physical."

The situation, however, got so bad that someone anonymously called the Department of Children and Family Services during the flight. When the family landed in Burbank, representatives were at the airport tarmac to take the complaint. Despite the altercation with DCFS and all the rumors that came with it, the agency let decided to let them go.

Despite all unfounded allegations, it seems clear that Pitt and Jolie ending their marriage is greatly affecting their kids. This rumor looks like just the tip of the iceberg in this long and tiring custody battle.
