Blue whale capsizes boat off California coast and the whole experience has been captured by one of the passengers aboard the boat. The 80-foot blue whale capsizes boat and the terrifying moment almost has the two passengers thinking their life was about to end.

According to Mirror, Captain Cici Sayers and passenger Dale Frink were aboard a 23-foot liner when the blue whale capsizes boat happened. Photographer Dale Frink was on the boat for a whale-watching trip in San Francisco when suddenly, the massive sea creature emerged from the water and the blue whale capsizes boat quickly.

Amazingly, blue whale capsizes boat was captured through video and in it shows the two sole passengers aboard the boat getting thrown overboard and into the sea when the whale arrived.

In an event which could probably be considered one of the highlights of their lives, Sayers and Frink found themselves face to face with the marine mammal after having fallen into the water as blue whale capsizes boat.

The event of the blue whale capsizes boat happened as Frink and Sayers were tracking the sea creatures off the San Diego coast. Suddenly, one surfaced a few feet from their vessel.

According to Metro, each of the two passengers were holding cameras as they uncontrollably tumbled into the sea water after the blue whale capsizes boat when it made contact with the liner.

Seconds before blue whale capsizes boat and the two splashed into the coastal waters, in the video they can be heard shouting. Frink, a wildlife photographer, was by then shouting 'oh my God'.

Frink explained, 'I said to myself: 'Dale, just do what you can to keep yourself safe, but if you can save that camera, save the camera!''

The Coast Guard was eventually alerted towards the boat which had to be towed back to shore.

The Coast Guard official explained that the blue whale capsizes boat incident was unintentional as the whale was just feeding on the surface during that time. He explained, 'I was out whale watching today in San Diego when the boat I was a passenger on was overturned by a lunge-feeding blue whale. I was not driving and I was not in control of the Zodiac. Neither I nor the captain was hurt save for minor bruises.'

He added on his website about the incident of blue whale capsizes boat, 'I cannot stress enough that the Captain was doing her best not to get too close to these animals, and that she did her best to follow proper procedure. It was a freak accident that is very rare for whale watching boats.'
