Verruckt water slide POV video is making waves on the internet. Built at the Texas-based Schlitterbahn, the Verruckt water slide was officially certified by the Guinness World Records in May. Verruckt water slide POV video may be as insane as it means. According to My San Antonio, Verrückt literally means German for "insane."

Verruckt water slide POV video really portrays how it's like riding the world's tallest, fastest, and yes, most insane water ride. The slide is reportedly 5 feet taller than the previous record holder, which can be found a at a Rio de Janeiro country club.

Standing at precisely 168 feet and 7 inches tall, KDVR said it is like plunging into Niagara Falls, albeit longer. Well, footage of what it's like jumping off towards a falls taller than Niagra is the Verruckt water slide POV video, and the world is welcome to sort of experience the ride with first timers as well.

Jeff Henry is the creator of the slide, and one of the guinea pigs of the first ride as shown in the Verruckt water slide POV video. According to the New York Daily News, nobody really wanted to build the tallest and fastest water slide in the world, which is why Henry put himself up to the challenge.

After Verrückt was completed, its creators wanted to test the slide and even make a Verruckt water slide POV video to share to the world the exhilirating experience. Built in Kansas City, Kan. water park, the choice of test riders for the Verruckt water slide POV video was fairly easy.

Reports say the final test subjects for the first ride and Verruckt water slide POV video were Henry, owner of Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts and Henry's assistant and head designer John Schooley.

Schooley said of his experience as one of the firsts to test the ride and appear in the Verruckt water slide POV video. Schooley said that though the ride was pretty terrifying, It was great fun.'

Still, Schooley reportedly reiterated that the ride, as shown in the Verruckt water slide POV video, is more than simple a hundred feet drop. He said that there is no comparison to the thrill he felt taking footage of the Verruckt water slide POV video. He called the experience an  'extreme thrill.'

He said, 'You have three or four experiences on the ride. There is a 3-second free fall before you get launched into a weightless situation for a few seconds, and then you come down like a roller coaster and have a long splash down.'

Apparently, the origins of the Verrückt are as intense as the ride itself, as also shown in the Verruckt water slide POV video.

Schooley detailed the big day when Henry thought of his dreams could come true. Owner of the theme park where the Verruckt water slide POV video was taken, Henry was at a trade show when he suddenly came to the idea that he will build the tallest and fastest water slide in the world at one of his five Schlitterbahn water parks.

After the idea, Henry reportedly just shopped the idea to vendors to fulfil his dreams. Though declined several times, he took it as a challenge.

Schooley said, 'He decided to build it himself. We have long experience in building water park rides and developing new technology. Our park in Kansas City doesn't have a height restriction so we decided to put it right here.'

According to officials, top speeds on Verrückt, which can be seen in the Verruckt water slide POV video, can reach up to a whopping 40-50 mph, and that's even slightly slower than they've originally anticipated.

Schooley said slower speeds allows for increased weight limits for the slide's riders.

He said. 'We always ride our rides first. And we found out it was too steep and too short. So we were able to redesign it from what we learned. We tore down two-thirds of the slide and rebuilt it into the design we have now. It would have been relatively easy to do (just one drop) a long run-out, but to shoot you back over another hill was extremely challenging.'

After all the preparations, Schooley seems confident that the new ride will attract thrill seekers from all over the world.

The ride, which was vividly terrifying in the Verruckt water slide POV video poses yet another challenge for all riders - the stairs. Schooley said that the climb is 'pretty challenging. I think its (about ) 260 steps to get to the top.' And that is estimated at about 17 stories high.

Slated to open to the public in the coming week, after original plans of opening on Jun. 29 was delayed because of a technical glitch.

Tara Henry, a spokeswoman with the water park said, 'The ride is fine, it works, but carrying those heavy rafts up 264 stairs would not be fun for riders.' Henry added that the one-of-a-kind conveyor belt has slowed repairs because 'it's not like we can just go to Home Depot and get that one part.'

Still, expectant riders who want to experience the same thrill as the Verruckt water slide POV video should not have to wait too long as plans have indicated the ride to open before the end of July.

For Texas thrill seekers, Henry said she 'is sure there is something special waiting in the wings' for the New Braunfels park.

Verruckt water slide POV video experience may not be the last, or least of its kind as Tara Henry also said, '(Jeff Henry) is always dreaming up attractions that are bigger, faster and taller.'
