Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting occurred late Thursday in a parking lot after a concert featuring Nas and Schoolboy Q. A gunman with a rifle reportedly shot on an SUV while rapper ScHoolboy Q was in it. According to authorities, the Colorado amphitheatre went on lock down after the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting took place. ScHoolboy Q was not hurt during the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting.

Meanwhile, due to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting after the concert, three other people were hurt, though with non-life threatening injuries, said investigators on Friday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, witnesses took to social media to share their experience with the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting and tweeted seeing SWAT members moving into the venue while police helicopters also manoeuvred overhead.

The Associated Press reports that the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting involved at least four people together with rapper ScHoolboy Q while they were inside a white SUV.

After the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting, The Denver Post reported that the victims apparently went to an intersection in Denver, which is 16 miles east of the venue. They were supposedly looking for a hospital before being stopped by Denver police and taken for medical attention.

ScHoolboy Q and another uninjured person were reportedly handcuffed for a while as police investigated the situation. No one in the vehicle has been arrested, according to the Huffington Post.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office released information via Twitter and stated that the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting took place in a parking lot outside the venue which followed after the concert. Officials added that victims had already been taken to hospitals while an investigation is also underway in search of a suspect where they had only "sketchy info."

The statement on Twitter recognized that the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting was the reason for the heavy police presence at the venue.

Meanwhile, no possible motive for the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting has been released yet by investigators. Arrests have also not been made.

Spokeswoman Jacki Kelley for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said, "It just happened 12 hours ago. We have a lot to learn."

ScHoolboy Q, whose original name is Quincy Matthew Hanley, is from Los Angeles. According to reports, ScHoolboy Q's album "Oxymoron" depicts his life as a father and former gang member. He is currently a member of Black Hippy, along with Kendrick Lamar.

He confirmed on Twitter that he was OK after the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting. He wrote "im str8...... dont trip."

ScHoolboy Q representative Ray Alba has not yet responded to any comment requests.

The concert which happened prior to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting is reportedly for the benefit of three groups, including the Gang Rescue and Support Project of Denver.

About 4,500 people who attended the concert have been stopped and questioned by investigators, especially those who went to the venue with a vehicle. Sheriff's spokesman Mark Techmeyer said, "Traffic was chaotic and slow, but "we had a shooter out there."

Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting interviews were held until early Friday. As of today, most of the park had already been reopened, with the exception of the area where the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting took place. The Red Rocks Amphitheatre shooting will not affect any future concert and events, says reports. Meanwhile, the area is still under investigation.
