Don't make any innapropriate jokes at a Hilton Hotel! Take it from Jason Payne, who arrived home after a stay at the Hilton in Basingstoke, UK, to a rather stern email letting him know he is banned for life.

Jason, 35, decided to write an innapropriate joke on the hotel's online booking form while booking his February 8th visit. When confronted with the 'additional comments' section, he felt he better inform them he was going to bring a "pet snake", in particular, that of the trouser variety. "There's a large snake in my trousers, hope that's okay!" Jason wrote on the form, saying he expected no one to actually pay attention to it. He was surprised, of course, when the receptionist cracked up in hysterical giggles while he was checking in at the front desk. "I had no idea why she was laughing, but then she read the comment to me. Her colleague then also started laughing."

Jason claims the staff told him he'd "brightened their day" and didn't mind the naughty comment at all, engaging in banter and innuendo with him. However, Jason returned home to an email from the office manager, who informed him "we are not willing to accept that our team members are ever put in an uncomfortable situation, due to the abusive language a guest uses talking to them, writing to them or even on the booking form they fill in online." When asked if there was any other upset he could have caused, Jason told The Basingstoke Gazette, "No, I was barely there. Even the snake was well-behaved!"

Since his interview, the incident has gone viral on the internet, with a majority in support of Jason's antics. Some hotels online have become hugely popular because of their quirky guestbook entries and guest comments, which some hotels include on their Facebook pages.

The hotel has confirmed the incident took place, but refused to comment further.

Jason is unapologetic over the matter and what he sees as "Austin Powers style innuendo". He fully intends to do the same to the next Hilton he books into.
