A new year brings a new list for the top 5 most traveled destinations in the US for the adventure seeker in you!

Starting us off we have the The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is one of the US's main attractions bringing in around 5 million people to view it every year. Measuring at a staggering 277 miles long, the canyon is well known for its hiking trails, kayaking and cycling. In addition, the views of the surroundings as well as the sunset are not to be missed. For the daredevil, take a walk on the Skywalk which is a U-shaped walkway suspended 4,000 feet in the air and provides 720-degree views on each side. Niagara Falls

Known for their infamous 176 feet high and 1,000 feet long waterfalls, Niagara Falls has always been, and will forever be, one of the US's most visited as well as main attraction for travelers. Hop on the Maid of the Mist and get an up close view of the falls. With nightly light shows that amaze and bring the falls to life, no wonder it is also known as one of the top romantic destinations in the country. Washington, D.C.

It being the nation's capital, no wonder it has earned a spot in the top 5 most traveled destinations in the US. For the history buff or the luscious landscape fan, Washington, D.C. has something for everyone. Come see The White House, home of our President, or join in on the fun at The National Cherry Blossom Festival, which takes place from March 20th until April 13th. and finally

New York City

Known as the city that never sleeps, which is very accurate I might add, New York City grabs our last spot on the top 5 most traveled destinations in the US. Where else can you go to grab a slice of pizza, or even sushi at 4 in the morning? NYC is home to many famous landmarks such as The Statue of Liberty, which was gifted to the US by our friends the French, to commemorate 100 years of Franco-American friendship. Then we have the ever buzzing Times Square with it's flashing lights and over sized billboards, and for the art fanatic, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and of course, the Guggenheim Museum. Looking for a bit of peace and quite? Take a stroll over to Central Park and take in the beautiful landscapes filled with famous sculptures and historical architecture.

So my question to you is, do you agree with these 5 destinations as being the most popular traveled to spots, or would you beg to differ?
