Perhaps it was the Ron-Ron Juice that eventually led to this.

Jersey Shore actor Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was hospitalized Saturday night in Florida for kidney stones.

The 27-year-old MTV reality show star was in the Orlando area at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America convention to promote his new line of alcoholic beverages, Smush Cocktails, reports People.

According to his representative, he started feeling uncomfortable at the show, and was rushed to the ER nearby.

"It's a very painful condition," the rep said, "but he's being treated. He's in a lot of pain and is expected to remain there for several days."

Later that evening, Ronnie tweeted, "Wouldn't wish this feeling on anyone! #KidneysFML", then responded to a friend's post saying, "Worst feeling. So uncomfortable."

Kidney stones are, in fact, quite painful ailments. They can case harm to any part of the urinary tract, and form when urine concentrates-this lets minerals crystallize in the bladder, and literal stones form.

Girlfriend Samantha Giancola, also known as the Jersey Shore's "Sammi Sweatheart," will accompany Ronnie at the hospital.

Ronnie gained fame on the reality show for gymming, tanning and doing large amounts of laundry with co-stars and fellow juiceheads Pauly Delvecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. He also was well-known for his various bouts of argumentation and violence with aforementioned girlfriend, Sammi Sweetheart.

But most importantly, Ron was the purveyor of Ron-Ron Juice: a combination of vodka, tequila and who knows what else.

Some wager that Ron's excessive drinking contributed to this kidney stone, but alcohol is not a known cause. However, it does exacerbate pain and size of the stone.

Hopefully, Ronnie will get well-and get back to making jungle juice-soon.
