A multi million dollar theme park has opened its doors called Adlabs Imagica. CNN reported that the theme park is calling itself India's first theme park of International standard and cost $294 million.

The theme park is made up of six different lands: Asiana, Arabia, Viva Europa, India and Jambo Africa and the park is located 70 kilometers from Mumbai in Khopali.

"There's no hiding who the target audience is -- Indians. Many of the attractions have a Hindu or Bollywood theme, the latter of which will go over the heads of those unfamiliar with India's cinema scene," reported CNN.

One of their attractions, "Mr. India" is a motion simulator that is based on a Bollywood film, for instance.

While, "The Curse of Salimgarh centres on a haunted fortress, where dungeons, torture rooms and a princess "trapped for eternity" greet the visitor," reported The Daily Mail.

The  hairman of Adlabs Entertainment, Manmohan Shetty, said to CNN that they wanted to set up a theme park that was affordable to Indian families. He said, "I think we have succeeded in doing that."

The park is spread over 80 acres and can hold up to 15,000 visitors a day.

"We have started with 21 attractions," said Shetty, to CNN. "We plan to add one attraction every year. If people like it, this will encourage us more."

At the theme park there are also stage performances, street artists, laser shows and restaurants such as ZeZe Bar which is African-themed, Red Bonnet American Diner and Armada Tapas Bar.

"It was our vision to create an entertainment theme park of international standards in India," Shetty told AFP.

There are plans to also add a hotel and a water park to the large area. A price for a day ticket costs 1200 rupees and the Daily Mail reported that the owners of the theme park recommended two days to see all of the attractions at the park.
