Showing up at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York for her interview with David Letterman, the 26-year-old Lindsay Lohan, wearing a black and white trouser suit, a la Hillary Clinton, looked very professional and appeared to have no concern over skipping a Los Angeles court hearing.

Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges stemming from a June 2012 car crash and thanks to a plea deal avoided any jail time, but this court hearing was about a lawsuit that photographer Grigor Balyan filed against the actress after claiming he was hit by her car that was being driven by her assistant outside a nightclub in 2010.

According to TMZ, "Lindsay's attorney Julia Azrael tried to let Grigor's lawyer's know last week she hadn't been able to get in touch with her client, but the deposition wasn't rescheduled."

"The photographer's lawyers are now expected to file papers asking for a judge to force Lohan to show up to the next meeting and if she fails to comply, the judge could issue a judgement against her and order Lindsay to pay compensation," stated Daily Mail.

However, with the actress having only a few weeks to arrange her personal matters before being required to enroll into a residential rehab program for 90 days, which was another term of condition of her aforementioned June 2012 car crash plea deal, finding another date for the deposition might be more difficult than previously imagined.

As for the rehab stint, according to Yahoo, "prosecutors are on the verge of approving a facility in New York for the actress as part of deal which will see her forced to spend 90 days inside the locked centre and perform community service for 30 days, rather than going to prison."

RadarOnline.com, using an unknown source reported that "if Lindsay leaves without permission, the prosecutor and judge will be notified immediately, and she will be sent to jail, no questions asked."

After all of these issues in such a short amount of time, the question becomes, when will the troubles end?
