Are you a window or an aisle sit kind of person?

Have you ever thought about what makes you prefer a window or an aisle seat?

Well, this article is all about analyzing the window and aisle seat person.

Let's start with the aisle:

"The aisle person is looking to get some work done," said Courtney Scott, Travelocity's travel blogger, to CNN.

Scotts states that "they [aisle seat people] want quick access to the cabin door--or the restroom. And to get that access, they're willing to put up with collisions with passing airline attendants and rattling snack carts.

However, on the other side of the aisle, the window if you will, For them, "it's not just about the view (or something to lean on). It's about the experience! These fliers often are the true romantics," Scott said to CNN.

According to Expedia, 21 percent of customers over the past year picked window seats, 20 percent chose the aisle, and the rest had no preference.

A United Airlines satisfaction survey for Airbus A320 passengers showed slightly higher preference for windows over aisles.

The consumer data collection site Hunch.com reports nearly seven out of 10 respondents prefer windows.

"Window choosers are more likely to be younger, female, shorter and more casual than their aisle compatriots," Hunch wrote. "They're also more likely to be into nature," reported CNN.

However, the reality of the world we all live in now, whichever seat you prefer, airlines are picking up on and are now charging top-dollar prices for some window and aisle seats. This is resulting in passengers, who do not want to pay the extra fees associated with their seat of choice to have no other choice and seat in the middle-seat.

So, have you decided which seat person you are?
