It was bound to happen sooner rather than later--Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan in bed, together.

However, before jumping the gun, it was just for a scene in Sheen's FX sitcom, Anger Management and nothing personal.

According to a TMZ report, the scene took place in Sheen's character's bed, where the two were implied to have had sex before the scene.

The e-zine also stated that Lohan was very professional.

"Lindsay knew her lines cold and her timing was perfect. She was really funny," a source told TMZ.

The 26-year-old actress "even showed up 45 minutes early, took photos with the crew and was incredibly nice," the source said.

For the scene that will be airing next month, Lohan will play herself in the episode as a patient of Sheen's therapist character who develops feelings for him.

Lohan "proved she has talent. You watch her and you know why she became a star," the source told TMZ.

After the shoot, Lohan took to Twitter to show her gratiude.

"I just had such a wonderful day on set of#angermanagement with @charliesheen &@LIGHTAARON@SaveTheSociety@jazejazz7 and the entire crew! [sic]"

Since running into trouble, Sheen, who knows a thing or two about getting into trouble, was there to help the "Mean Girls" scarlet out--he lent her money to help her IRS issues and now gave her a job.

The 47-year-old actor has also made it clear that he believes he can help her get her life back in order.

"I have a kinship with somebody [Lohan] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not," Charlie said. "She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey."
