Rapper Lil Wayne has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after having multiple seizures.

TMZ reported that Lil Wayne suffered seizures on Tuesday night after he shot a music video in Los Angeles. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital and released a few hours later, early Wednesday morning.

TMZ broke the news last October when he suffered from two seizures on board separate airplanes. He has been prescribed seizure medication by his doctor.

Wayne, 30, last October had to make an emergency landing when he suffered the seizure attack. The rapper's rep at the time said that he just had a migraine and was dehydrated, reported The Huffington Post.

At the time, Hollywood Life received the following statement from Wayne's rep:

"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."

He was however, hospitalized after that on Oct. 26 on board a separate flight. He then admitted to MTV News that he was on seizure medication and the doctor told him to drink four water bottles a day.

"Everybody that's around him is taking care of him. Wayne has so many people around him that truly, genuinely love him. I'm not worried at all," Nicki Minaj said to MTV. "Even him being on the plane, thank God that there was somebody there right away that was able to help him. I'm just thankful that he was OK."

Wayne was with Minaj shooting her music video for her "Re-Up" single, "High School," reported The Huffington Post.

"On Wednesday night, snippets from Human Being II were released online. The upcoming March 26 album will feature 2 Chainz, Drake, Future, Big Sean, Juicy J, Gunplay and Nicki,"reported MTV News.

Cash Money CEO Birdman said in a press release to MTV that, "Lil Wayne is arguably one of the most original, and extraordinary recording artists of all time. This is an excellent offering from the best of the best."
