A massive riot has occurred in a Chicago mall after the boyband, Mindless Behavior had an event. Kdvr.com reported that 19 people were at the event that got out of hand at Ford City Mall. WBBM reported that the crowd started throwing signs and ruining cars in the parking lot. Two people have been treated for minor injuries.

The large crowd gathered at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday for an autograph signing by Mindless Behavior. Witnesses said to kdvr.com that more than 100 people were running through the mall. 

It started around 4:45 p.m. Saturday after a large crowd had gathered at the mall for an autograph session by the music group Mindless Behavior. Officialse ended the event when a group of approximately 30 people started causing trouble. The mall was subsequently shut down .The injuries included a bus driver who was hit by an object that was thrown.

It's not certain how the riot started but The Christian Science Monitor suggests from reports that it happened because of a fight between to boys.

19 teenage boys were arrested due to the riot ranging from ages 13 to 18. 17 of them were charged with mob action, one was charged with battery and DDDD was charged with criminal trespassing said Hector Alfaro who is Chicago Police Departments News Affairs Officer. The charges are all deemed as misdemeanor and the names of those arrested has not been released.
