V Festival will be headlined by Beyonce. The popular British Festival based at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, is set for August 17 and 18. Other acts include Kings of Leon, The Script, Rita Ora and Emeli Sand.

The director of the festival Simon Moran said to MSN, "With our line-up already boasting acts including Beyonce, Kings Of Leon and Emeli Sande, the 18th annual V Festival is once again set to be an unmissable weekend.

"We have a reputation for bringing fans the best world class acts and breakthrough artists, 2013 is set to be another sensational year."

The popular festival's past headliners included Coldplay and Radiohead. This is just the first batch of acts to be released but more will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. on Friday and can be purchase d VFestival.com.

Other acts that have been announced include the likes of Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding and more, making it a diverse and fun set.

Festival Directors Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond said to The Daily Mail, "We've worked hard to bring fans an exciting and diverse line-up, securing Beyonce for an exclusive European Festival appearance and Kings of Leon as headliners is a great achievement. These acts along with one of the strongest bills in V Festival's 18 year history is something we are very proud of. We have a reputation for bringing fans the best world class acts and breakthrough artists, 2013 is set to be another sensational year."

V Festival has been around for 18 years with much success for music fans around the U.K.

Virgin Media are the headline sponsors for the V Festival for the fourth year in a row.
