After he moved in, he reported that he could hear heavy footsteps of "Yankee" Jim Robinson, a drifter and thief who hanged himself on the site four years ago before the house was built. His family ended up in tragic deaths and suicide, which mostly occurred inside the house itself. Family members still reported the haunt landmark often accompanied by cigar smoke or a scent of heavy perfume.

Amityville Horror House

This house is located in Amityville, New York. The story itself also scares everyone on the big screen when Hollywood makes a film and portrays it as creepy as the real-life story. The site was the scene where Ronald DeFeo murdered his entire family while they're sleeping, including his parents and four siblings in 1974. The house is currently off-limits to the public.

Legends say that a woman died on the fifth floor and never left the building. The "Lady in Red" was reported making her presence by whispering in men's ear and leaving pearls from her broken necklace on guests' pillows.

Haunted Places is really quite spooky if we imagine, but the saddening part is the story itself and why their spirits or presence are still there. Before going into a haunted place, we need to make sure that we are ready for what we will be seeing, or we know the story itself.
