Alec Baldwin's wife, Hilaria Thomas is being sued by a New York man after claiming that he had "serious" and "severe" injuries after Thomas' yoga class at Manhattan's Yoga Vida studio where she teaches, reported The New York Daily News.

The man, Spencer Wolff also claimed, according the NY Daily News, that the class he took on Jan. 15 was emotionally upsetting.

Wolff said to The New York Post that he was told to to "perform a dangerous activity at a wall," but did not explain how the injury occurred. He did claim negligence and overcrowding of the class.

Thomas and Baldwin were married in June and Thomas is pregnant with their first child. She has taught yoga since 2005.

According to Yoga Vida's website, Thomas has been teaching fitness and dance for over ten years and in 2005 she started teaching yoga and incorporates her dance and fitness background. She also became interested in trauma psychotherapy and attending a Somatic Experiencing training and brings that to her classes as well.

"In Hilaria's classes you are invited to experience the body-mind union that is yoga. Through dynamic sequences you will consciously play between states of activation and release, allowing for deeper body awareness," says Yoga Vida's website. "Not only will you receive a good workout, but she also strongly stresses the 'why' for each movement, enabling you to take charge of your own practice and truly understand the purpose behind your yoga. Our bodies are always aware of our minds as they think-this is why we have a physical reaction to all of our emotions and thoughts. Our job as yoga practitioners is to encourage the mind to become aware of the body as it moves thus detecting and alleviating stress and suffering from our bodies. This methodology will empower you in your own body."

Earlier this month, Thomas and Baldwin confirmed that they were expecting their first child together. Thomas said to "Extra," "We're having a baby! It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise."

"Now, I'm showing, it's getting to be much more, like 'OMG this is actually going to happen!' Now we can start the nursery, the everything, the dreaming," she added to "Extra."

Baldwin, 54, has one daughter, Ireland, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
