Now that Chi magazine was the first to publish pregnant photos of bikini-clad Kate Middleton on vacation in Mustique, other publications are following its lead.

Woman's Day a weekly, Australian magazine has joined Chi and published the photos of the Duchess' family vacation to the Caribbean island of Mustique. She was snapped wearing a blue bikini in numerous shots and showing a small baby bump.

Woman's Day will run the photos in Monday's issue, reported Yahoo News. The Editor of the magazine, Fiona Connolly defended the decision buy saying that press in the UK  have a "gentleman's agreement" about what sorts of photos they are allowed to publish with the royal family but that agreement does not apply to Australia.

"In this instance they are a beautiful set of photos," she said according to Yahoo News. "As a magazine that does publish photos of the royals, I am sensitive to the sort of pictures that shouldn't be published," she said referring to the naked photos of Kate on vacation this past fall.

Chi magazine notoriously published topless photos of Kate Middleton this past fall in Chateau D'Autet in southern France which caused widespread controversy and anger over the royal and her family's privacy. In 2006, Chi also published photos of dying Princess Diana which was taken by one of the paparazzi who was pursuing her before her crash in 1997.

"These (current) photos were taken on a public beach, the Middletons were openly chatting to other holiday makers," she added to Yahoo."They are certainly not photos that they would disapprove of - they are happy - and the fact that the last time we saw Kate looking really unwell, coming out of hospital and at a really tough time for her in her pregnancy - to see these photos where she's fit and healthy and really glowing is even more reason to celebrate."

UK TV show "This Morning" also made headlines by mistakingly showing the photo on their talk show to millions of viewers. The Mirror reported that presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were reviewing the headlines of the morning when they flashed the front cover of Italian tabloid, Chi Magazine who have published the photos of pregnant Kate in a bikini.

The Mirror reported that the photos of bikini-clad pregnant Kate could get £250,000 for them. It is not clear whether or not the photographer was on the island. Other photos show Kate's sister Pippa also in a bikini.

Initially, St. James' palace was disappointed by the obvious breach of privacy on the royal's vacation.

"We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas," a spokesman of St James' Palace said to The Daily Mail.

Paparazzi aren't allowed on the island since it is a private island making it a popular spot for celebrities such as David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Amy Winehouse who have all frequented the island in the past.
