When Lauren Marbe, 16, of Essex, UK, took an IQ test for fun with her classmates, she didn't expect the results -- she scored a 161, higher than Prof. Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates and Albert Einstein -- all of whom scored 160s, according to SWNS.com.

She has enrolled in the prestigious honor society Mensa, which puts her officially in the top one percent of smartest people in the world, SWNS.com reported.

Besides her high IQ, she is an ordinary 16-year-old. She likes tanning, blonde highlights, manicures, parties with her friends, and the popular UK reality show TOWIE. Marbe is also the daughter of a black cab driver and dreams of being a performer on the West End, according to SWNS.com.

Although Marbe has proven herself with strong grades in school, teachers did not expect her scores to be that outstanding. "I was one of the last people to get my result, and everybody before me had got around the 130 mark, so that was the kind of result I was expecting," Marbe said. "My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades, but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy. Now they keep saying 'I didn't realize you were that clever.'"

Growing up in Essex, known as a posh town, the teen told The Telegraph that she was happy to be able to break a stereotype. "I love living in Essex and I'm glad that I might be able to show people that we aren't all ditzy and blonde," Marbe told the paper.

Although she plans to take high-level classes and attend Cambridge University for architecture, she said she is torn between her academic ability and her desire to become a professional singer and dancer.
