Episode 2 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" titled "The Hokage's Son!" shows Boruto returning from a suspension. He tries to ignore other students who are talking about him, saying that he is getting special treatment because obviously, he is the son of the Seventh Hokage. This episode shows how trying being in school can be for someone like Boruto.

Asahi reported that the series is based on the manga of the same title, and it is set in Konoha, which has changed over the years and has now become modernized. It is still the home of ninjas, but the village has now increased in population.

According to IGN, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 2 is much quieter compared to the previous episode. While the premiere episode introduced The Academy and how it has changed, Episode 2 just restated what has been showed previously.

Episode 2 also shows the contrast between Boruto and his famous father. Naruto has the urge to prove himself, but what we saw in Boruto was different. Although he knows about how other students perceive of him, he does not seem to mind at all. He did stand up to Iwabe, though, when the latter picked on Denki.

Now, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 3 spoilers reveal that Boruto will finally get to show off his skills. A short preview revealed that Boruto will try out a new technique called Demon Wind Shuriken, also known as Fuma Shuriken.

However, Boruto is yet to master this technique, and learning it may mean that it is yet unstable and may cause damage to property, or worse, to other people. Some sources claim that Boruto was only forced to showcase this skill after he sees Metal Lee's mastery of shuriken. Just how powerful this technique is, no one really knows for sure. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 3 is set to be released on April 19.
