"NCIS" season 14 is making lots of surprises lately. Michael Weatherly's return on the upcoming season won't be realized anymore when he knew about Mark Harmon plans of quitting from this popular TV show. This was the latest issue which made the series face cancellation issues.

 Fans were following the series for a long period of time. Therefore, hearing such issue is such a bad news for them. Basically, the news about Weatherly affected the show a lot. Meanwhile, Harmon who played the role of Leroy Jethro Gibbs was also reported of suffering from a serious illness which leads him to lose a lot of weight, Celebeat reported.

It was the advice of his doctor for him to focus first on his health. One of the major recommendations that would help him recover is to quit the show. Further, after learning the entire reason, the fans were left worried about Harmon's condition.

As of now, fans are still waiting for updates whether the actor will be back or not. Everybody is still keeping an eye on whatever will be the confirmation that "NCIS" season 14 will make.

Moreover, there were also claims that Benedict Cumberbatch will be joining the series. He is said to be added to the show in order to pull up its ratings; however, as of now, these claims remained unconfirmed.

Furthermore, season 14 will also center its storyline to some of its most important investigations. According to The Reporter Times, NCIS will be given another case to handle and that is to investigate the Death of Marine.

Meanwhile, Torres, on the other hand, will be handling an important investigation. He will lead the NCIS team but later on, the story will reveal that the old gang has a direct connection to him. It can be recalled that Torres used to work before on a secret mission and was even a member of a dirt bike gang for a year of his life.
