Bea Smith has been the center of the plot of "Wentworth," and when she was killed in the last season by Joan 'The Freak' Ferguson, a lot of fans have been wondering as to how Season 5 would be like without her. Bea has been a solid figure, and without her, Wentworth Correctional Centre is going to be darker and more vengeful - especially for Allie.

When Kate Jenkinson learned about the death of Danielle Cormack's character, she said that she was more devastated than anyone. The West Australian said that the actresses became fast friends, and Jenkinson said that she feels like she is more devastated than anyone. But she used how she feels to make her scene effective.

Jenkinson said that she remembered filming a scene halfway through "Wentworth" Season 5, and she had to be very upset. "I went back and I watched a YouTube video of Bea's death. It upset me to the point that I was able to go into my scene and be very convincing. So I used my own material to upset myself."

The award-winning drama returns April 4, and according to The Sydney Morning Herald, Bea's absence is most certainly felt, but it took nothing from the show, but rather, it enhances it. "Wentworth" Season 5 episode 1 started with the rest of the inmates discovering that Bea is dead, and that The Freak killed her. The inmates were heartbroken, to say the least, and to remind them of Bea, they have created a monument of her in the exercise yard.

Bea's cellmates are filled with hatred over Ferguson. Because of what she did, The Freak is facing more jail time. On the other hand, Allie learned about Bea's death and it's difficult to watch, just because she is clearly broken, and she looked very vulnerable. But we know that that won't last very long. Expect the coming episodes of "Wentworth" Season 5 to more exciting.
