It looks like Electronic Arts is trying to get some help in creating the next expansion pack for "The Sims 4" game from the players. The Maxis division of the company is asking players to vote for contents to help them create the Stuff Pack expansion.

According to a report from Venture Beat, players can vote for the theme of the Stuff Pack expansion on "The Sims" blog. They have until April 6 to vote for the overall theme of the new expansion pack and come April 10, they can start voting on the art style.

The voting for the art style, which will allow players to select from the proposed art styles for the new expansion pack, will run until April 12. The results of the vote will help Maxis artists in creating the objects and clothing that they will include in the pack.

Maxis said in a post that they always collaborated and listened to the feedback of the community when it comes to their developments. But this time, they want to make it more transparent for the players and the community.

"Players will have the chance to be included in choosing the specific features through numerous rounds of voting," Maxis said. The developer adds that players will also participate in a new dedicated section of The Sims forums and the new concept will also allow players to gain insight as to what happens during development meetings.

After selecting for the art style of the new expansion pack, players will again get to vote on May 18 until May 21 for objects and clothing. Players will get to choose from a variety of concept art drawn and decide which among the pieces of clothing and objects will be included in the Stuff Pack.

Worthplaying reports that the players will also vote on the kind of feature that they want to be included. They can also select from the game's top features from June 23 until June 26.

"The Sims 4" Stuff Pack expansion will have two more voting after that, the Pack Icon Vote, where players can decide what the icon of the box will be, and the Pack Title Vote, where the fans help in deciding what title could best summarize what they will be getting. Both votes are scheduled for Fall 2017.

The voting schedule somehow indicates that the pack could be expected in the fourth quarter of this year. In the meantime check out a review of "The Sims 4: Bowling Night Stuff" in the video below.
