One of the original casts of the "Arrow" season 6 is making a return in the DC television family, Katie Cassidy. Apparently, she never left the family. She has a character named Laurel Lance in season 4 who was shockingly killed in a certain episode. Surprisingly, Cassidy is coming back in the CW series being Laurel's Earth-2 doppelganger called Black Siren.

Basically, she will appear in the series regular episodes of season 6 but will still get back first on the final two episodes of the fifth season. As per executive producer Marc Guggenheim, they were very excited for the upcoming season of "Arrow" since they just allow themselves to be taken to where the story leads, Hollywood Reporter reported.

It can be recalled that the past season brought them to the tragic death of Lance and this year on its mid-season, they'll be featuring the character of Cassidy. Apparently, they were very much thrilled to welcome Cassidy back again into this series.

Further, Black Siren's character on season 6 is such a huge deal. This simply means that the showrunners of the series are definitely living up to their word of introducing a mystery unsolved for the previous seasons just like when they showed a funeral without even revealing who was that in the grave.

As per TV Insider, the production was very much amazed on how Cassidy deeply interprets her character. The series executive producer added that Cassidy never left the "Arrow" family ever since.

For the upcoming season, there is still a question if Cassidy will still be a villainous character or if she will be joining Team Arrow this time. This is something viewers should keep an eye on as Black Siren starts to unfold her story back on "Arrow" season 6.
